This is the first time I have written about a wine that I have written about before, but it is a new vintage of Marques de Casa Concha Etiqueta Negra frá Concha Y Toro (2018).
I liked the wine that much and feel it is such a classic wine with grill food, that of course it should be the wine of the month in the middle of our grill season! Is their much difference between the 2017 and the 2018? Not really, but enough that you would notice.
Marques de Casa Concha Etiqueta Negra frá Concha Y Toro 2018 has a very open aroma, even more than I expected, the nose has lots of paprika, oak, vanilla and alcohol. The palate is strong with alcohol to start out with og then comes the blackcurrantm coffee, vanilla and green paprika flavours. The aftertaste is long and fruity and has a good balance but I would suggest decanting it beforehand. A great wine now but will be much better with some cellar storage. As stated before this is a grill wine through and through! The price a fair at 4.199 kr.
