I have tasted a lot of good wines in the year of 2021, so I have decided to write a list of the five best wines I have tasted in 2021. There are certain criterias to be on this list. I have tasted a lot of wines that are not yet on the shelves of the liquor monopole and I feel the wines selected should be easily obtained, so one of the criteria is that the wines should be in at least one of the Monople stores. Exceptional wine: Flor de Taverners

It´s always fun to see a good spanish wine that does not come from Rioja, wines that show us that Spain as a whole is a great wine making country. Flor de Taverners comes from the Valencia area and is a blend of Monastrell and Tempranillo, the „cold maceration“ technique is used on the grapes which is fairly unusual at the moment.
